A8-3. 9" parachute deployed, but didn't open. No damage. Had trouble all day with that chute.

Yankee Retro Flight 1 - 2/20/2023

A8-3. Maiden flight. Parachute deployed, but didn't open up. Came down hard on the rocks and broke off a fin.

Hi-Flier XL Flight 23 - 2/20/2023

E12-4. Second flight using the ACE. The RPM did register and provided good data, but did not run the ACE motor nor deploy the chute. Back-up chute worked perfect!

Hi-Flier XL Flight 22 - 2/20/2023

E12-4. First flight using the ACE. Did not deploy at apogee, as the RPM did not register again, however, on the descent, the ACE motor spun up and opened the hatch deploying the chute! Strange! Back-up chute worked perfect!

Hi-Flier XL Flight 21 - 2/20/2023

E12-4. Test flight with the ACE on-board. Didn't plan on ejecting, just testing the ascent characteristics and standard deployment charge. Worked great, but the RPM didn’t register the flight.
