This is a great little altimeter. It almost replaces the $100 counterpart that's out on the market. Notify me when you get more in stock and I'll pick up a couple more. I know they're going to sell out fast.

This is an amazing altimeter. Nice and small and it works great. Great service also. Just updated mine to the newest firmware.

Super small, and simple to use the Flightsketch Mini is the one thing that will make your rocket toolbox complete. "how high did that go"? Well now you can tell EXACTLY HOW HIGH IT WENT. Fits into almost all rockets. Even BT-20 size tubes. Not super cheap nor expensive, you will feel comfortable putting it into just about any rocket. Best $40 I have ever spent.

I did not secure it well.enough to the nose/cord and I lost it on the first flight, tho I did somehow get an accurate seeming altitude off of it while wandering around the launch field. I love the app, dead simple, yet nicely featured. Big fan, can't wait to order another when back in stock or to Beta the sport etc.

Why I loved my first 10 minutes with your product. - Instruction - clear and easy to understand. - iOS App - WORKED! Connected to my FlightSketch mini without any trouble shooting. - Test: I have a little waterproof OtterBox and made it into an altitude test chamber. - First attempt to record data - WORKED! Watched it in real time the data flow on the screen. - Download data onto the app: Worked - so cool. Loved my experience so much I came directly to the site and bought another one and added the dino chute pouches. So easy and affordable at the same time. Magic. Will fly it this weekend!

I like simple. This altimeter is as simple as it gets. works well, super small and comes with a very easy app. What else do you want, except availability... (sorry for buying several when they were available...)

Several years ago when I was looking for a better rocket altimeter, my friends highly recommended the Flightsketch Mini altimeter. It was an excellent choice! It usually records data for the entire flight from just before liftoff until hitting the ground. This includes full altitude and acceleration data which can be easily downloaded to your phone or uploaded to the flightsketch website. The flightsketch website creates excellent graphs of your data and also calculates and plots the G's and the speed.. The data is extracted from the flightsketch mini with the excellent phone app which talks to the bluetooth on the altimeter. Once I lost my plane but found it with the bluetooth signal. Another time the tiny altimeter fell out of the payload bay and I found it with the bluetooth signal. But don't count on that! Fortunately I saw how great a unit this was and bought a 2nd unit as a spare so I fly both. One unit lost one of the small RF metal shields but it still works ok. Kudos to the developer's excellent hardware and software skills. It is too bad that he is having trouble sourcing parts. I look forward to him being able to supply them again so that others can benefit. No doubt he has another full time job and is not making any real money on this project at these prices, so cut him some slack!
