True 3 strand braided Kevlar. Much less likely to unravel compared to twisted line.
Kevlar is a naturaly fire-resistant fiber and is far more durable than elastic shock cords. Kevlar is best known for it's use in bulletproof vests and has a strength to weight ratio ~5x greater than steel!
This is our preferred shock cord for 18mm & 24mm models. A double loop fits through the FlightSketch Mini mounting hole.
Rated for 100# test. Sold by the yard. Longer lengths will be shipped as a continuous cord.
267 mg/yd, ~6ft shock cord is 1/2 gram (0.019oz)!
